Something a little different, but still aviation: a couple of photos of my grandfather during World War One. He flew in the RFC for several years, crashing something like ten planes over that time, and participating in many sorties. I still have his photo scrap book -- the image on the left is one of several of him standing in front of a plane he'd just pranged. Such accidents seemed par for the course in those days.... He later went on to instruct in fighters during the Second World War in England. Any help with identifying the aircraft above would be appreciated.
